I just bought a Navway PNA470 and it was a waste of money.

The text-to-speech engine is very poor quality and can't even pronounce words like "North".

The maps (from NavTeq) don't take into account local variations like service roads and the route algorthim doesn't plot the shortest route for time OR distance.

The unit is based on Windows Mobile 5 while WM6 was released more than 2 years ago. I can't get "contacts" to work with Outlook/ActiveSync and the version of ActiveSync supplied is several years out-of-date.

The translation from German to English is incomplete and the addrsss entry keyboard is not QWERTY.

All-in-all, Ausway, Navteq and Medion should all be ashamed of themselves. Off to buy a better unit now. I'll try to flog this one on eBay to some unsuspecting sucker.

I started to use the GPS Navigation system about 10 years ago. I found it to be very useful.
